Students will have the opportunity to observe and investigate the egg-hatching process. Two weeks prior to the start of this course, students will have the opportunity to observe the eggs in the incubator, including the candling process. They will keep a science journal to record their thoughts and observations. Students will monitor and participate in taking care of the eggs and chicks during this process. We are planning to visit a local farm, and possibly see the process of how eggs end up in the grocery store.
